These skates are attractive, seemingly well made with excellent rubber wheels, and fit comfortably. However, these are not for beginners. They don't have the traditional way of stopping, so if you don't know other methods, probably start with something else.

If you're an avid skater like me, you're open to trying all sorts of different styles, fits, and brands of skates.I grew up skating and playing hockey, so I'm a pretty advanced skater when it comes to ability and technique.Even so, I would say that these type of skates will take some getting used to, even for experienced skaters due to their height in particular. They're designed for smooth paths and are definitely not the choice if you need to make quick turns, stops, or maneuvers. These are meant to go in a straight-ish line and keep going in that direction, making it easy to achieve and maintain speed. So, as to fit and quality, I'd give them a B- overall. Everything you need is here, but they're not built to a very high level of quality. The buckles feel like they're straining to tighten and I don't get the sense that they'll last very long at all. The laces are very thin and don't hold their tension at all. I'd recommend replacing them with a thick hockey skate lace or even waxed lace to hold their tension better. Finally, as to comfort, they get a C at best. Especially around the ankles, you can really feel the hard plastic boot pressing against your ankle bones. They're not what I would consider "comfortable" by any means and I think blisters would be a real issue with these as you'd have to tighten them up quite a bit to get the level of support you need, but that level of tightness is going to really dig the plastic shell into your ankles and cause some real discomfort.I think if you're deciding whether or not to take up speed skating, these might be a good way to test the water in that regard before spending the right amount of money on a considerably higher quality (and more comfortable) boot. They're not bad, but I wouldn't expect them to last long either.Overall, there's a lot to like, but a lot of areas that could be improved. I'd say they perform about on par with their price.

‼️ When choosing roller skates as a beginner adult, the process can feel overwhelming due to the wide variety of styles, wheels, and fastening systems available. Here’s a quick guide to help you navigate the decision:➡️ How to Choose Roller Skates:➖ Skate Type: Beginners often face the choice between quad skates and inline skates. Inline skates, like the JGMLZK 3 Wheels Fitness Inline Speed Skates, are generally faster and provide a good workout, but they require more balance. Quads offer more stability, making them a great choice for those just starting out.➖ Wheel Size: Wheel size plays a crucial role in how your skates perform. Larger wheels (like the 110mm wheels on the JGMLZK skates) are excellent for speed and smooth rides on outdoor surfaces, but they can be a bit challenging for beginners due to their reduced maneuverability. Smaller wheels offer more control and are better for indoor use or beginners still mastering their balance.➖ Wheel Hardness: The hardness of the wheel is measured by the durometer scale (A scale). The 85A PU wheels on these skates are versatile, providing a balance between grip and durability. This hardness is suitable for both indoor and outdoor skating, making them a great option for those who want to try a bit of everything.➖ Bearings: Bearings like the ABEC9 found in these skates determine how smoothly your wheels will spin. ABEC9 bearings are high quality and allow for faster speeds with less effort, which is great for fitness skating. However, beginners may find them too fast at first, so starting slow and building up speed is key.➖ Fastening System: A secure fit is essential for both comfort and safety. The JGMLZK skates use a combination of buckle, hook and loop, and lace-up systems. This triple fastening system ensures the skate fits snugly and securely, which is important for maintaining control while skating.➡️ My Experience with the JGMLZK 3 Wheels Fitness Inline Speed SkatesI ordered a size 7 in women’s, though my usual shoe size is 6.5. While the size 7 is slightly large, thick socks should provide enough padding to make them comfortable. It would be nice if they offered smaller sizes, but this is a minor issue. The skates themselves are extremely comfortable, with a secure and stable feel that’s perfect for beginners and intermediates alike. I’ve only had the chance to try them out indoors, and they performed beautifully—gliding smoothly and feeling stable as I moved around. I’m excited to take them outside and see how they handle on pavement.➡️ Quality of the ProductThe wheels are made of polyurethane (PU), which is a durable material that typically offers a good balance of grip and longevity. On pavement, these wheels should last a decent amount of time, depending on how often you skate and the surfaces you encounter. However, regular maintenance, such as rotating the wheels and checking the bearings, will help prolong their life.ABEC9 bearings are a standout feature of these skates. They allow for a smooth ride and the potential for high speeds, though they may be a bit fast for total beginners. If you’re new to skating, you might want to practice in a safe, controlled environment before hitting the streets.➡️ Price and BrandAt $105, these skates are reasonably priced for the features they offer, especially considering the high-quality bearings and durable wheels. While I couldn't find extensive information about the brand JGMLZK or its sustainability practices, the product itself feels solid and well-made, making it a good investment for those looking to get into inline skating. They also came in a recyclable cardboard box with minimal waste. In conclusion, the JGMLZK 3 Wheels Fitness Inline Speed Skates offer a great blend of comfort, stability, and performance, particularly suited for those looking to improve their skating skills. Whether you're skating indoors or planning to explore the outdoors, these skates provide the support and quality needed to enjoy the sport.

These roller blades are fantastic. They arrive in a large cardboard box with the roller blades inside in their own plastic bags. The laces come in the box separately so you do have to lace these up yourself.I am more accustomed to 4 or 5 wheel roller blades so these immediately felt more challenging to stand on as they are much taller as well from the larger wheel size. However, they are extremely smooth moving and feel great once they are properly laced and buckled tightly. The frames on these do have screw holes in case you do want to use 4 or 5 wheels with these roller blades instead of the 3 wheels.Overall, these are fantastic roller blades that fit perfectly and roll nice and smooth. However, I would not recommend these larger 3 wheel blades for a beginner as these are more challenging than the smaller wheeled 4 or 5 inline roller blades.
