When I took it out of its packaging, I was amazed with the robust build as well as the mechanism that folded up into a low profile. This is not some fragile piece of plastic; rather, it has a sturdy impression and seems to be well-made. As someone who takes great care of their vehicle, I enjoy the fact that the hook component is coated to avoid scratches on the door of your passenger vehicle. This device was mostly used by me for the purpose of loading and unloading stuff onto my roof rack. Previously, I had to do this chore with a great deal of difficulty, which sometimes required me to dangerously balance on the door sill or to use a step stool. Having this automobile step has made me feel a great deal more secure. I can set it at the perfect height for both my comfort and the specifications of my car thanks to the seven-gear adjustment, which is a game-changer. The design of this step not only really cool and easy to use it's also sturdy and well-made. It can support up to 500 lbs, making it perfect for accessing the roof of my vehicle even when holding something I'm adding to the roof rack. The 7 positions and the foldable foot pedal are great features that allow me to safely reach the roof while providing support for both feet.The step provides a secure platform for loading and unloading gear, such as bikes or luggage. It has definitely simplified loading up for my outdoor adventures and made it possible for someone as short as I am to access my vehicles roof on my own.

I can use both feet on it, quite sturdy. Works great, has adjustment to fit my vehicle well (Nissan Frontier). Will get one for the wife’s SUV if she puts the ski box on her car for ease of use and versatility.
