So it was very beautiful easy to install, unfortunately a little too big for us. Very well made. Light was able to shine through no problem. Turned on and off with motion.

I wanted a light that accentuates my wall and is functional. I got it!This light fixture looks beeeautiful on my wall and it is dusk to dawn i.e. with photo sensor so it turns on and off at dusk and dawn. So no more manual light operation! Great for that extra security when I am not at home to turn on light.If you love antique light fixtures, it's a good buy. the photo-cell option is the extra benefit.Oh, its big, so it really 'pops' the wall. The glass parts have this bubble-like look, not just plain dull glass.

This outdoor wall sconce is a very good-looking and well-made fixture. It is made of cast aluminum of fairly heavy thickness, and there were no sharp edges left over from the casting process. The black paint was applied evenly and without any drips or light spots. The edges of the fixture are highlighted with gold which gives a sophisticated look. The transparent panels are a kind of hammered glass, so that while it casts a bright light, you cannot quite make out the bulb, ideal if you want to use an ugly LED bulb or a flickering bulb. There’s an inconspicuous photocell sensor on the front of the light, just below the front pane of glass, which will turn the light on from dusk to dawn. There are two small nuts on top of the lamp which allow removal of the top for bulb changes.Overall, I’m very pleased with this light.
