The GIVENEU electric raclette grill has been working well for me.I got this product thinking it would be good as a way to cook outdoors without having to use a large gas grill. It's been working out so well that cooking with it has gone indoors. The best feature about this grill is that it has a number of different uses that can happen simultaneously, making it easy and efficient to cook a varied meal all on one device. The different top elements allow for cooking of any kind of protein or larger vegetables such as eggplant or fruits such as pineapple (so good for vegetarians too). The flat surface is great for pancakes, paninis etc. The raclettes are small, but can hold and keep warm sauces or cheeses for toppings to meals. I just really love how it can all happen in one appliance. In addition, clean up consists of less pots and pans. The overall size of the grill is on the smaller size, so this is not something that will work for anything more than a single person or couple. I guess it could work for more people, but you would have to cook in batches and keep things warmed in a stove. The raclettes are small enough to be considered individual portions, but as I said I do use them for sauces but I also don't make a large amount of sauce for meals, so these work for me.Overall it is a pretty solid device, and seems to heat up quickly with even temperature throughout the cooking surfaces. Controlling heat is pretty easy with the dial control, but I do wish it had a complete 'Off' setting. Instead the controller is just 'Min to Max'. I think it is sort of weird that it doesn't have an 'Off' setting. Also, you have to sort of gauge how hot it is getting because there is no digital display showing the temperature the grill is at. This isn't a big deal to me because it is the same as an electric range, but it is something to consider. Surfaces are non-stick and work pretty well at being non-stick (sometimes things can be 'non-stick' but they end up sticking quite a bit). When using indoors, the open grill style of this works best if the grill is placed on an island. I say this because if you are cooking meats there can be some splatter if you are using high heat temps, and so clean up is easier if the grill is placed on an open surface (as opposed to next to a wall).Overall I really like this grill. I feel it is pretty solidly built and works as advertised. I don't feel this is going to work for a dinner party, but if you are single or cooking for you and a mate, this will work very well.

I’ve been looking for a versatile indoor grill to spice up our dinner nights, and after some research, I settled on this 2-in-1 raclette grill. After pulling all the pieces from the box and assembling it, I was impressed by the sturdy build, the reversible non-stick plates, and the solid grill stone. The 1200W heating element promised quick preheats and even heat distribution, and so far, it has lived up to that expectation. The grill’s capacity to serve up to eight people is a major selling point for me, but I quickly realized the space is really more suitable for smaller gatherings, like two to four people. The cooking options are great for different food types. I’ve used the grill stone for meats and vegetables, while the non-stick plates were perfect for making grilled cheese sandwiches. The small cheese melt pans underneath work exactly as intended, keeping the cheese warm and ready for topping whatever you're cooking. The temperature control, however, could use some improvement - it’s just a simple “min” to “max” dial with no clear indication of the actual temperature, which makes it tricky to gauge exactly when food is done. As for the experience, the grill heats up fairly quickly and maintains heat well, but it can get a bit messy with grease splatters, especially when cooking fatty meats. It’s definitely not ideal for cooking burgers or anything too thick, as the open grilling style doesn’t contain grease or prevent splashing. There’s also the matter of storage - it’s quite large and finding space for it when not in use can be problematic. Despite these issues, I’ve enjoyed using this grill for casual dinners and as a fun way to engage guests in cooking. The overall quality of the materials, the even heat distribution, and the convenience of using multiple cooking surfaces at once make it an enjoyable appliance for small-scale cooking.Bottom line:This GIVENEU raclette grill is a solid choice for smaller households or intimate gatherings. It heats up quickly and cooks evenly, with versatile cooking surfaces. Overall, solid build and convenient features. However, it’s a bit small for larger groups, and the lack of precise temperature control can be frustrating. Ideal for grilling and cheese melting, but not perfect for thicker cuts of meat. I highly recommend this grill, but give it only 4 stars due to a few mentioned flaws.Pros:1. Overall solid build.2. Heats quickly and evenly.3. Great for small gatherings or couple meals.4. Versatile with grill plates and stone.5. Cheese melt pans work well for individual servings.6. Non-stick surfaces make cleanup easy.Cons:1. Small size, not ideal for large groups.2. Grease can splash and make a mess.3. Temperature control dial lacks precision.4. Can be difficult to store due to its size.

Hey, it's fun! We've done a couple raclette nights now. I definitely recommend spraying the grill surfaces with a little cooking spray. It will make clean up easier. Read the instructions prior to first use. Nice, simple raclette, good value for the price.

Much smaller than expected but should get the job done. Good quality and well made
