Compré ésta jotter para incluirla en mi EDC, mi análisis es el siguiente:Lo bueno: El mecanismo, los materiales y el acabado son correctos. Me gusta cómo se ve en la mano y sobre una mesa. Aún que es una pluma de precio medio no pasa desapercibida. Se ve sobria masculina y elegante. El cepillado está bien hecho y aguanta muy bien el uso. Con el cuidado correcto, es una pluma para toda la vida.Lo malo: Desconozco dónde las fabrica PARKER pero éstos jotter no tienen nada que ver con los que se fabricaban antes. Aún que el mecanismo sigue siendo el mismo, la flecha y el grabado de la marca perdieron calidad.Me hubiera gustado ver un clip con la flecha texturizada, que se notara el relieve al pasar el pulgar, nada de eso. El grabado del logo apenas es perceptible, se sabe que es una PARKER sólo por la flecha mal hecha.Por otro lado la tinta con la que llega es la clásica azul de aceite. No es mala, pero es regular. No aporta mucho a la experiencia de escritura, es seca y tenue.Si quieren mejorar su escritura radicalmente, recomendaría pasar a las tintas de gel de la misma marca.En resumen, sí recomendaría comprar ésta pluma si los estándares no son muy altos.4.3 estrellas de 5.

PROS: - Completamente de metal con un acabado cepillado, muy elegante, sin ser pesada.- Tamaño discreto, se ve muy bien y se siente de mucha calidad.- Tinta recargable, la encuentras en cualquier almacén o aquí mismo.- Si la compras sin estuche de regalo te ahorras unos pesos.CONTRAS: - La tinta azul con la que venía se ve muy común y algo pálida, como la de una pluma de $10 mx que compras en la papelería.- Al ser de metal y tener piezas móviles, se escucha un ligero cascabeleo al escribir, que para alguien que no se concentra con facilidad pudiera ser un problema.* En la foto la comparo con una Kanji G4, de la que al principio me quejé, pero me ha resultado excelente también.- El envío con Amazon excelente, 2 días con Prime.- Conclusión: la pluma completamente recomendable, la tinta, considérala un regalo.

I’ve been writing with this type of Parker pen since I was taught how to write.. many decades ago. I very much like the style, the weight and the grip. Most importantly the durability is generally very good. The metal top end offers very good protection against chewing and general wear. The only historic weakness is the clip, that when I was a schoolboy used to break after a few weeks – these days I’m better able to control my tendencies. I struggle a bit more with two aspects of the modern Parker pens of this type; first, the push button on top is now rounded and polished. For sentimental and aesthetic reasons I prefer the old variant with the sunken rim and Parker logo printed on the button. Yet this more recent variant is probably more hygienic. Secondly, the new painted metal bottom part looks nice but I think the former little chrome band above the tip just gave the pen a more distinguished look. Also metal (aluminium I suppose) has replaced the former plastic bottom part, this enhances durability and prevents the body from scratches in theory. But the spare modern one I have already has paint damage near the tip. Either way, rather than a colour I always have the harder to find plain stainless steel lower body variant that looks a bit more stylish. I’ve always sworn to the finest blue tip.Professionally the most important reason to have this pen is that is looks decent and modestly chic but everyone knows its not outrageously expensive, like a Montblanc pen (while the functionality is similar). This is very important to me as I am in trusted relationship with significant clients and advisors and I can’t afford to come across as sensitive to luxury nor as careless about appearance. Also an expensive pen would be a waste as I tend to lose my Parker pen every other year at meetings or conferences.I was quite pleased to find my favourite Parker pen variant at Amazon, at less than half the price than the various city high-street stationary shops. So I bought 2 of them to be prepared for my next inevitable loss.And of course I highly recommend these pens.
