Absolutely wrecked my hands trying to use an adjustable crescent wrench to loosen the bottom bracket fixed cup for an old 1980s Schwinn World Sport. Just get the right tool and avoid making the same mistake I did. It came off in a snap with this. The right tool for the job is so satisfying to use and a lot less painful.

I do quite a lot of upgrades and fixes on bikes for me and my friends, and have bought quite a few of the cheapest tools available for the job. I find they generally get the job done, but I’ve had several tools damaged after the first few uses, I’ve even had one bottom bracket spanner break first time. They are worth it in a pinch, if that’s all you can afford and it’s going to get you going again, but it’s if you plan on doing regular work on bikes, I think it’s almost always worth spending the extra cash for Park Tool products, especially the bigger spanners like this, that sometimes deal with a lot of torque.

Me ha gustado la calidad de fabricación. La he usado para desmontar y montar las cazoletas del pedalier Campagnolo de una bicicleta.
