Bought November 20th 2024, sound wasn’t great but could live with it. Fast forward to February and only works when it wants to. And honestly don’t drive the truck but every so often.

Bluetooth cuts out constantly the stereo will not get very loud! The stereo continuously tries to connect to CarPlay so cuts out your Bluetooth. Returning this today! You get what you pay for.

Sound, radio reception and backup camera are much better with this radio than the Ram Uconnect 5.0 plus this has navigation , apple or andriod carplay makes this a big improvement over the factory radio and looks and fits like it came from the factory . My reason for not giviing 5 stars is they need a better wiring diagram, there a alot of extra wires in the main connector for adding extra speakers or other things and the instructions sent only showed the yellow plug on the camera wire only being used for the supplied camera and not the factory camera and that was my mistake and was finally able to get with their tech support and they sent pictures of the connections for both using the factory camera or the supplied camera so I needed to connect that yellow camera plug to the yellow plug in the main harness to have the factory camera to work. They really should have the pictures the tech sent me put into a revised diagram , it would have made it alot easier and saved alot of time for something so simple . There is tech support that is very good but you must give them time, they will text you late at night because of their time zone. All that said, so far it has been a great improvement for my 2015 Ram 2500.

Bought this to replace the base model factory radio in my 2013 Ram 1500. It seems to work flawlessly, has great sound, a multitude of EQ presets to choose from, or you can manually tune the EQ to your personal tastes. Apple Carplay is awesome. The basic AM/FM Radio in it performs great as well, and the faceplate tailored to my Ram 1500 makes the installation quick and simple. No modifications are necessary, it just snapped right into place.
