The reel is as described. Went Sturgeon fishing with it today and caught a 59 incher and it worked smooth, no problem. One thing you may want to do is turn it over and tighten, or even put loctite on the threaded pall cover that holds the pall pin that works the level wind that moves the line back and forth. It is chromed and there is a tiny spring that can get lost really easily. Do your work over a white towel as to catch any parts that fall. There is a tiny spring and a pin, they are tiny and very important. When you put it back together, put a drop of loctite on the threads. Not a lot, just a little drop. This reel was probably built on Monday, after drinking the night before. It's a great reelRon

No where near as good as the Swedish one but cheap and functional
