I turned to these after replacing several early burn out LED lamps. LEDs are definitely the way to go but the technology is still evolving. I found that for many specialty bulbs the hour rating is pretty meaningless. I mean don't even get 2000 hrs on a claimed 20,000 hrs rating. These bulbs were a significantly more economical investment and they actually work. No problem with color temperatures or anything like that.

Would give it a 5 star but the solder blob on the end of the threads is to large and wont allow the bulb to thread in to the socket. I had to carefully cut away some of the solder to allow it to fit and it barely threaded in.
