I've put these outside on my pergola and they work great.

Included wall anchors were unusable; bought new wall anchors compatible with this screw size. Then the included screw broke off in the wall anchor. The 20 dollar mount is now an 80 dollar repair. Maybe once the handyman finishes salvaging this I'll be able to tell how well it actually holds up the speaker.

I much prefer the Nest over the Nest mini, and these mounts are great! Rather than having them sit on the floor and not get the most optimal sound, or looking for space on a shelf or table … these mounts put them up on the wall and out of the way.DO NOT use the cheap wall anchors that come with the mounts. They do not support the weight of the Nest. I had one to fall and tear even bigger holes in the wall. I suggest a trip to Home Depot and get the EZ-Anchor, no-drill drywall and stud anchors rated for 25lbs or more.
