Problem is that the terminal size says it can take 18 awg but it completely ignores the wiring jacket size. There is no way that your wires at 18 awg would fit if you used all or most pins. I need about 34 of 37.Otherwise the item is nice quality and I’d keep if I used 20 - 22 awg wire.

Came missing 2 set screws.. I looked all in the bag in case it was just too loose when shipped, but nothin (I have a ton of components that use the same size though, so I got that situated).. 3 of the terminals were jammed too far up to loosen (open), so I had to basically connect the wires by pinching fhem between the screw and plastic housing... 1 other CON is that I noticed the plastic housing of the terminals (not the whole outer shell that u put together urself) was easily able to be separated (with a slight wiggle) from the db37 connector.I bought a 2nd one and it was perfectly fine.. the 1st one must've been made on an early Monday or a late Friday.

I needed a pair of these to build a custom audio snake for my rack. (Or rather 're-head' one). This did work, and the connection feels reasonably solid. I would have liked slightly better construction for on stage work, however, which is why it's 4 instead of 5 stars.

I used this without the shell to build some custom modem-crossover connectors via 25-pin ribbon cable. Neat and clean, and a screwdriver's included; what more could you ask for? Well-constructed and easy to use, belongs in any techie's kit if you use DB-25 cables at all.
