That it fits an universal sink. It does work well.

So, first of all, this wasn't a 2-pack. It's 2 pcs - a drain stopper and the cap. That's okay, I wasn't sure what I would with the second piece anyway as I only have one sink in my kitchen. I was expecting this to work like the wire mesh ones at the dollar store, so I wasn't sure if my roommates would like it. But this was so much better! It's metal and it's flat, so it works incredibly well but the food and gunk wipe off it easily. It is so easy to clean compared to those wire-mesh strainer thingies. And it's very effective, stopping all the food and stuff without blocking the water flow (unless I cap it). We don't use the cap, but I was surprised at how strong it was when I tried it experimentally. There' s a vortex-suction thing going on that keep it in place. Since we keep a wash basin in my sink, I don't really use the cap. But the strainer part -- that works amazingly well. Very happy with it. I like that it's easier to clean.

I havent written reviews lately but I just had to with this strainer and stopper. I kept getting frustrated with my stopper and strainer for several reasons...The holes were too big and did not catch all that it should...it would constantly switch from drainer to stopper when anything, including a dish or pan was placed on it. So I spent the time to review just about every one on amazon and I chose this one because it made sense to me.It catches so much more than before and I just give it a tap and into the garbage can all the debris goes.When I opened up the package, I noticed that the stopper did not fit inside the strainer. I thought that was strange and couldn't imagine it working, but it does. I just place it over the strainer and boy oh boy it allows me to fill up the sink with water and when I want the water to go down the drain, it flows great. .and one more thing ,the strainer actually looks great and is made with quality. I LOVE IT!!!!

I had purchased the 1st set and after usage I had purchased 3 more to give away as Christmas gifts...it fits nicely over the garbage disposal doesn't pushed down into the rubber piece and pretty well made, very sturdy and easy to clean. It's worth having this to prevent any unwanted stuff going down the disposal; and price was very reasonable.
