One out of two ain’t bad I guess. For the price I’m not surprised that one of these batteries doesn’t hold a charge as well as the other one. Still, it would be nice if they were consistent. As is, they seem to be about 75% as capable as the Dewalt original equipment whenUsed in a 16” chainsaw. Nice to have spares, would have been nicer for f they were a little closer to OE

I am returning these batteries based on price versus performance vs other options.I'm giving this battery three stars not because it doesn't perform as stated, which it might actually do, or that it's defective or low quality. I'm giving it three stars because compared to other options at the same price it's significantly worse / less.for approximately the same price per battery I have found a 12 amp hour 20/60v battery that runs 9 amphours under the same test as this one.a couple of years ago I bought a battery tester to better understand the DeWalt clone batteries.I don't use it to disprove the manufacturer's stated ampHour usage more as a relative test of which battery to buy.this battery States it's a 9 amp hour battery and from the screenshots it appears it's closer to 6 amp hour with the tester drawing 5.25 amps continuously. which is about a 1 hour runtime at that current draw.some caveats / details on the above test.- battery was charged overnight 100% full.- cut off voltage was set to 15 volts- constant 5.25 amp draw. A different draw rate will change the amp hour available. My DeWalt angle grinder draws about this current.- none of my tools would be in continuous operation like this test does, so this test is more of a worst case scenario for me. Folks using this battery for lawn Care, for example, would actually probably use it continuously.

I purchased a pair of these batteries that claim to be 3AH on 60V and 9AH on 20V lithium ions. Those are the exact specs of the DCB609 battery. These batteries are much smaller than they should be for those specs, with the DCB609 weighing 50% more. I tested these batteries against an older pair of DCB609s on identical leaf blowers. On the first test this battery ran for 4 minutes 14 seconds while the old DCB609 continued on for another 8 minutes. In the second test, the battery from this listing ran for 5 minutes 57 seconds, and the old DCB609 ran for another 6 minutes and 40 seconds. So even old DCB609s lasted just over 12 minutes, while these two lasted between 4 and 6 minutes. These are simply far smaller batteries than they claim to be, with far fewer cells.

These batteries do work for both 20v-60v. But they’re not gonna work on 60v well you’re gonna be disappointed so go but a better battery for a 60v. It’s equivalent to a 6ah 20v. They work on 20v tools extremely well.

Every once in a while, a product comes along and really makes you question why you actually spend the money on something namebrand. Looks is the only difference between this and a Dewa** battery. Honestly, these are slightly taller instead of bulky and wide, which is awesome because the bigger batteries, to me, get caught up when you’re trying to get a certain angle. I know they are offbrand, but that would be my only complaint is they really really look offbrand lol. This thing is a beast just like namebrand though. It’s ridiculous how cheap they are but perform like namebrand.
