Bought this to run some led lighting in some shelves I’m making. Using Tatazone COB led strip lights. Haven’t installed yet but tested lights and they work great so I’m confident with the splicing should be fine.

My son installed under the cabinet lights for me in the kitchen. Came out so nice and no more cooking in the dark!

I bought 2 sets of 10mm LED lights from one of the local lumber stores. They used 4-wires and a bunch of complicated connectors. I put the first strip up and tested it and it was green. So I punted and started over with 8mm warm white lights from Amazon. SO MUCH SIMPLER because there are only 2 connectors. These block connectors are super easy to use and you can actually tug on the wires to make sure they are secure. I used the wire in the wall and in the attic (inside a blue nerf-tube) to run power over to the cabninets on the other side of the klitchen. Smaller wire means smaller holes in the cabinets, whihc is a huge plus. I recommend these to anyone with a mored advance undercabinet lighting layout .

With a COB led strip you will most likely have to shave some material from the end of the strip to lower the profile to accommodate the connector. This isn't a big issue but should be noted.I should point out that the wire is 22 AWG which isn't the best for long runs. The added resistance may effect the light output if one was to use the most of the roll to go from the power source to the lights.I did find that the connector blocks worked reasonably well once the end of the LED strip was shaved down to fit the strip end.It should be pointed out that these connecters are designed to only accept one end of a light strip. The other end is designed strictly for connecting wires. There are far better connectors available for spicing two sections of LED strips together.

This helped bridge some lights for a big gap in kitchen cabinets. I was able to hide the wire with a stick of trim.Easy to use, connectors work easy and all hardware needed was included. I have wire left for more projects.Just as described, no issues. (Using a 2 pin) when i run out I'll buy again.
