I've only had this product for a few days, but for the price, it is worth it. I used these jump ropes for my PE students. At the end of the school day, I noticed two handles were broken and fell off. It could be from my students not handling the equipment properly; the jump ropes are still usable. These jump ropes are perfect for light use, not for multiple students a day for an extended period of time. Being able to customize the length is nice but a bit time-consuming.

I got these for my granddaughter. She's been taking Taekwondo and they have just introduced some basic stuff with jump ropes. So, I'm hoping to use these for practice. The 12 pack was nice because she can get her favorite color and we can size one for her specifically and then have a couple at our house and a couple at her house so we can practice with her depending on where she is during the week. Probably share out a couple to her friends when they come over to play.That said, I have forgotten how tiring it is to jump rope. So Grandpa is going to have to do a little practicing as well. I can attest that the little plastic segments don't have that same impact when they hit you in the face or back of the head. You'll still feel it...I had to shorten the rope my granddaughter chose (she went with the purple/teal combo) quite a bit. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to do this. I've saved off the little plastic pieces so I can use them to lengthen it as she grows. There was plenty of room in the handle to push the extra rope in, so I didn't have to cut it. You could I suppose - there are 12 of them. When I was using one to demonstrate, I found the rope to be close to the right length. I'd prefer it a bit longer - I'm 5'5", so keep that in mind.The rope is light. Probably a good weight for kids. I remember we used much heavier ropes when training for high school football. But we were a lot younger then and our joints still worked.For very inexpensive jump ropes, I am very pleasantly surprised.

This was ordered to use with elementary age children for recess and PE. We have been using these for about 2 months now and they have held up very well for the amount of times they are used. They seem to be very easy for their small hands to hold onto the handles and not drop the jump rope easily. These are not a high end jump rope, so we may need to replace later, but they serve their purpose now.I would recommend these for a bulk purchase for schools, a gym for children or even a daycare. They are adjustable, but it's not quick and therefore multiple packs may be needed to keep them at the desired length.

I included these jump ropes in my daughter's birthday goody bags and they worked out well. The ropes come individually packaged, which made it easy to put them into the bags. The jump ropes are comfortable to use and the adjustability option is a nice feature. They are pretty basic, but the quality feels good. My only minor complaint is that I would have liked a few neutral colors in the mix, as we had some boys at the party (all the ropes contain either pink or purple). However, I am happy with this set overall.
