Bought 3 - one for each bathroom. We tried it in the kitchen... And now we have 5 of these.Look, it's a very elegant, very minimal bin. The minimal aesthetic is our bag.It's the perfect size for 1 or 2 days of kitchen scraps (garbage & compost). And we don't want more than 2 days of kitchen scraps in the kitchen to it fits our needs. It looks pretty good on our counter hugging the wall and looking fairly neutral. And I love that I don't need to touch the bin while cooking.On the flip side, it's made of pretty thin plastic. I doubt it will withstand my 3yo standing on it. And my 3yo WILL inevitably stand on it.But then again, the price was also pretty appealing. Appealing enough to afford 5. So I guess we're all winning.

Basic, clean design. I got this for the front entrance, to hold wipes from cleaning dog paws. Love the hands-free option to dispose of items. Motion detection is almost too sensitive, but I'd rather this product be more responsive than less. Good bag-hold design that keeps bags from slipping down, and so far, excellent use-longevity from one battery. I also have another manufacturer's version with fluted sides that, while more aesthetic, means more fussiness while cleaning. I like this unit for its simplicity, though it might be nice to have a gold-top option. One design point: it would be great if if the motion detection were on both sides, to give an option to turn item around. As it stands, all of these products, regardless of manufacturer, only open "right side up and out", if the motion-detection plate is closest to you.

Mi cocina es muy pequeña y no tengo espacio para un bote de basura. Este es tan práctico que lo acomode atrás del garrafon de agua y estamos encantados con el. Es muy bonito y funciona super bien.
