Make sure you prep the wall first. Giving it a good wipe down and allowing lots of time to dry throughly. Super important step for good adhesion. It's thick and relatively heavy paper. Sticky on the back just remove the back paper slowly as you are sticking it to the wall and smooth out. It goes on easily press firmly. It makes a decent chalk board. Chalk markers work better then stick chalk. And has slight magnetic power. Will hold lightweight magnets but nothing too heavy. I would have liked a stronger magnetic hold. But it's good.

There is an odd space in my kitchen that I used to hang a small scarecrow. My great-nephew is afraid of it, so I removed it and was left with a spot that needed painting. Until I have a chance to paint it, this is a perfect cover up and very useful too. Not only can kids use it, but I can leave notes for my hubby or write down grocery items.It was easy to install. I tested and it truly is magnetic. Even comes with crayons that easily wash off the board and are neater than chalk.

Got this to give my son more space to put his magnest and draw, i put half of it on the back of a whiteboard so it was double sided, and the other half on his door so he can have a chore board

Very cool magnetic chalkboard. We have not used it much for the chalk purposes but the kids are loving to do their countdown to summer break with the magnetic letters. I'm not sure about the stickiness to the wall. The corners seem like they want to come up on it. So far no major issues but a couple corners are away from the wall. That is the only reason I'm giving up four stars though. If it does separate I'll just put a tack in it or something to hold it on so not a huge concern.

my son loves this, he will sit by his door where i have it pasted and color forever, color and erase then start over again. it cleans up super well to and doesnt stain at all!
