Ordered these to serve two roles: First, a thicker pair of riding pants for colder, rainy days, and second: as a pair of cold weather outdoor work pants. They do a pretty good job at both. The pants themselves are well put together, and made of a pretty thick fabric that sheds water well (I wouldn't wear them while riding in the rain, but they do well in the snow and during normal wear). The inner lining makes them warm, and the outer shell fends off the wind well. They fit nicely as well, and are quite comfortable for what they are, though the top part is a bit constricting.Overall, they make for a good, cheap pair of pants that seem like they will last a while even in rougher working conditions.

These pants are incredibly thick and warm, making them a great choice for cold weather—but definitely too much for everyday wear. The zippered front pockets are a nice touch for keeping things secure, but I really miss having back pockets. The side cargo pockets with strong Velcro give off serious ‘90s vibes, reminding me of digging through my trapper keeper for an eraser —except now, I’m searching my pockets instead! While they’re practical for winter, the design choices might not be for everyone.

These cargo pants are designed to withstand the elements, making them ideal for snow, skiing, hiking, and other outdoor sports. The waterproof softshell material ensures you stay dry in wet conditions, while the fleece lining provides warmth and comfort, even in cold weather. The olive green color offers a versatile and practical look. The cargo design gives you ample storage space for your essentials, and the pants are designed with mobility in mind, allowing for unrestricted movement during physical activities. Perfect for outdoor adventurers, these pants balance functionality and comfort.

I wear a 36", 34" pant but went with the 36", 32" size in these fleece lined pants. As expected they are a little short but that's fine as I plan to wear these with boots. The waist and butt fit well, the pant legs taper somewhat in the "new" style so they feel somewhat closed in around the calf. But as the Item Description states, these pants are for cold weather wear and that means cold. They are extremely warm and with the fleece lining you will heat up in no time. I plan to use these for cold weather camping around the campsite. Doing strenuous exercise in these (snowboarding, hiking), I think these pants may get way too warm unless you are in below freezing temps..The material is stretchy and the claim is they are water resistant. The pants are very well made and the double seams everywhere indicate you can beat these up without too much damage. The pocket situation is somewhat strange, stuff in the side pockets is carried on the front of the thigh rather than the side, and the cargo pockets are oddly shaped with small access, they also protrude out for a different look than a regular pant. Zippers on the side pockets and hook and loop on the cargo pockets are a good feature. For the $20 price (as I write this), these pants are a deal to pick up as a warm backup for that real cold camp trip or yardwork.

First, let's just be clear...the use of the word "waterproof" in relation to clothing is almost always overstating the case. Like most clothes labeled "waterproof", these pants are water resistant, and that resistance will likely fade in effectiveness the more times the pants are washed. With that said, the fit (32Wx30L) seems accurate although the legs may be a little shorter than I would like. They are definitely warm and because of the nature of the fabric are also fairly wind resistant. They do not have any back pockets and the side "cargo" pockets are a little small, but big enough for a cell phone, wallet, or the like. I can't speak to the durability, but overall they are a reasonably stylish pair of warm outdoor pants that would be comfortable for doing chores outside, hiking in cold weather, or other winter pursuits.
