Needed a bunch of bags for some of my stuff and came across these. The bags are soft, look nice and are not transparent. They seem to be pretty well made and do exactly what I need them for.Highly recommend

These are very thin and cheap quality compared to other muslin bags I have bought. Very disappointed for the price

I used to use bandannas to make homemade desiccant packets for their moisture absorbing properties and keeping my ammunition fresh, but bandannas get expensive and I hate sewing. At $0.23 each, these are both more breathable than bandannas and more cost effective. Dust can escape through the tight-knit mesh of this bag, but that after the initial fill, enough vibration to kill these packs would also destroy your ammunition. To those who don't know, the elements that corrode or destroy ammo are: Moisture and vibration. I've recently shot a bunch of 20 year old, just kept in a closet, 9mm ammo and there was quite a bit of corrosion. 98% of the ammo functioned perfectly, but I'd rather not rely on those odds if and when my life is on the line. Moisture corrodes and vibration breaks down gunpowder.Exactly 80g of silicon crystals (almost 1 cup) will fit loosely in these (4"x6") bags with enough room for swell due to moisture and retaining malleability to surrounding ammunition cartridges. They dried out wonderfully in the oven at 170F for 2 hours and I can't imagine these bags failing before the ammo does. Unless I use them as hackey-sacks, I can't imagine enough vibration to break down the cloth material or the contained silicon crystals before the aforementioned ammo is useless. If you want to store 5-digit ammo quantities for long periods of time, then I suggest using twice the desiccant packets than you really need; Especially in Texas. (This means two 80g packets in each .50 cal M2A1 ammo box) This is my favorite item purchase of the year on Amazon. What a great and well-made product; Maybe not for every use, but most certainly for this one.

If you’re not familiar with muslin please understand it is a very thin material. I ordered these to allow my kids to stamp on them and have the shape transfer to both sides of the bag. They are however one of the best things for separating jewelry while packing, or storing. They are amazing for loot bags for parties and makeup give always. And any time I need to pack tights, nylons, lace items and bras these are perfect!
