Nota: el panel solar es de 6 V CC y no es compatible con ninguna cámara enchufable sin batería.

I was gonna buy the solar panel from Ring, but then check this out and I got it for so much cheaper and got the extra long cord that came with it at no extra charge

Item as described but the panel locking mechanism does not hold in place. I had to scar the lead ball with a flat bastard file so the wing nut would hold the panel in place because its a plastic frame.. Other wise it charges both batteries on my Ring Cam Pluses… The extra long cord along with the adapter is a big plus… Better then the original Ring panel at 2 feet.. ????? WTH 2 feet?? Lol worth the price with minor adjustments to make it work and 40 bucks cheaper..7/92024Update…It seems there are some compatible issues with the Ring Spotlight Cam Plus and aftermarket items.. The ring app notified me to either keep it as a battery or switch to a perm mount device? But did not afford me an option of solar powered with Battery??? Well, as I researched this issue, it’s a Firm wear issue with its own del, add, adjust and such just to get the solar panel to charge the battery…. It took 9 hrs of direct sun light to recharge my Ring Spotlight Cam Plus from from 63 % to 89% and that’s not with switching to the perm mount device you will get from the app..I have 3 other cams I hooked up and they all did the same thing with the after market panels and slow charging… For longevity… Time will tell but, for 8 hrs of trying to fix the issue.

I recently installed and been using it for sometime now. The setup was easy, it took around 4 to 5 mins for the camera to recognize it and show that its installed.Since installation, it has kept my cameras consistently charged, but its not cloudy much these days so I'm wondering about how well will it works on continues cloudy days. I'm happy that finally I'm not bringing my ladder and need to frequent battery changes and ensures uninterrupted monitoring. Plus, it comes at a great price, making it an excellent value.Overall, it works great and maintaining my ring cameras charged with sustainable energy. Highly recommended!
