Excellent sound. Works with bluetooth, radio, cd, and connected it to my TV as a good quality speaker system. Lots of volume and good sound quality and clarity.

I needed another stereo to listen to my music as my old Sony system from the 1980's started acting up. Considering the technology these days, I elected to purchase a Micro system that had more to offer. I stuck with the Panasonic brand as I am familiar with their quality line of other items such as cameras and other audio devices. This unit has everything that I need in a nice compact unit. Easy to set up and a joy to use. The sound quality is more than acceptable for my aging ears and offers many options to enjoy music, radio broadcasts, podcasts, cd's, and recorded music on my flashplayer via the usb port feature included in this device. The headphone jack is a great inclusion and also offers Bluetooth technology for wireless headphones or smartphones (which I have yet to try). Very solid and appears to be well built and in my opinion, is worth the extra dollars for a Panasonic product of this calibre.

I replaced a larger system that was over thirty years old. This mini system has a clear sound and I will become used to it. The sound cannot compete with the larger system. There is a setting where you can turn surround on however I did not find any difference with it on or off. I play a lot of classical music and there is a distinct difference between my old system and this mini system however I have to consider the difference in price. If the Bose music system 4 was not so highly priced and was sold directly by Amazon, that would have been my choice. This Panasonic system is easy to hook up and the product manual does indicate a CD player can be installed with it. I have a five disc CD player that I plan on adding to it.
