I absolutely love these loaf pans. Love how you can use them individually or use one as a lid. They come pre-seasoned even though I did reseason them myself. The cook book is OK. I was expecting "starter/ dough" recipes but it's more of a bread recipe booklet. The gloves are great. Definitely can handle the heat! Great product

I used my new cast iron loaf pan to bake homemade sourdough bread today. I must say they worked like a charm! The bottom was not burned and the loaf literally fell out of the pan without any force. I did oil it prior. I used the second pan as a lid for the first half hour of the bake. I must add they fit together as a lid should, and does not fall off due to a lip the manufacturer designed on the pan. Previously I baked in other loaf pans that would fall off while taking them out of the oven and got a horrible steam burn. This will not happen using these cast iron pans! One, they have handles, and two, they fit like a pan with an actual lid when a lid is needed. If you open bake without a lid, which I do much of the time, you can bake two loafs! Upon receiving these loaf pans I was expecting the insides to be rough like sandpaper as most new cast iron initially feels. These were not rough! I’m very satisfied with the thickness of the pans, smoothness and even baking. I have a few very old cast iron skillets owned by my great grandmother and I couldn’t be happier with this product brand. I expect these will also be passed down to my daughter, granddaughter and anyone there-after! Lastly the aesthetic design: they are beautiful! The handles look vintage, making them more than just utilitarian. The corners are slightly rounded which makes for a beautiful mold to the bread, and ease of cleaning. To top it off, I received an email from the company asking if I was happy with product and if I had any issues or question I could contact them. No issues after first bake, just a perfect experience! I love my new loaf pans.

Excellent product! Purchased to make sourdough sandwich loaves. I oiled both interiors lightly, and did not use parchement paper (dough placed in a cold oven set at 425°F for 1hr with lid-on, and 15min with lid-off). Also, used it pre-heated at 500°F (PARECHEMENT PAPER AT THIS TEMPERATURE = FIRE; so NO, I did not use any). Very happy with my purchase, although I did find it a little expensive. The two halves work as 1 covered Dutch Oven, or separately to make 2 loaves. Recommend.

So far so good. Used them for two loads at same time with the reusable silicone bread pan liners. They all worked great with each other. Love the cast iron. It'll last longer than I will.
