Awesome little travel palette! Fits in just about any pocket (either a bag or a pants pocket — it’s smaller than my iPhone 14 Pro), the pretty outer color makes me happy, and I love that it’s made of metal rather than plastic. The included empty half pans let you choose your own colors, and you can remove them to swap them out for other colors. Lots of space for mixing even though the palette is compact. I can’t find anything wrong with it, really. Thumbs up!

The case of this watercolor palette is so cute. The pans are like pans I have in kits from other manufacturers. There is a loop on the back for holding the palette. Everything about this kit is good and if I needed a second, I would absolutely buy another. (Just a different color.)

I love this!!!This palette is packaged in a thick box which protected it well in transit. The outer case is beautifully decorated and fits into my hand perfectly.Even though this palette is really compact, you can fit a great many colors into it! It comes with 14 empty half pans, but you can fit 5 additional half pans in the middle (see image — the pans filled with colors are my own that I slipped into the center). Note: you can’t fit full pans in that center area (which is why my purple pan is floating above the others) but you CAN fit full pans in the standard area if you wish.It is very easy to remove the entire center holder (it’s shown here removed from the palette) and very easy to remove the half pans. If you have trouble removing them, you can gently bend back the metal holders, remove the pans, and then when you replace the pans, you gently bend the metal holders back in to hold the pans snugly. Once they are held, they do not fall out, so you can throw this entire palette into a bag and go out and about! This is a wonderful palette and I’m already a huge fan.

This is a very well-made and sturdy little tin. It’s made out of metal and I think it will last a long time and be very functional.I like the layout of the tin as well. It has two built-in mixing areas in the lid section as well as four smaller ones in the “flap” that folds in and out of the tin when the lid is open. It’s handy to be able to remove the half pans from the bottom sections. It holds a good amount of paint, and there’s a slot between the two half pan sections for a small travel-type brush.I ordered “snow” for the outside design because I love blue. It’s very attractive. The paint used for the design is very durable. It seems to have some sort of thin clear coat over the top of it too,Minor dislikes:—The tin came in a cellophane wrapper and in a lightweight mailing package with no padding around it. The structure of the tin arrived in perfect condition, attesting to its durability and sturdiness. The design on the top is intact as well. However, due to movement during shipping, there was some light wear to the clear coat on top. This doesn’t impact the functionality of the tin in any way. Additionally, it will end up with lots of wear and tear anyhow from moving it in and out of my bag, and traveling with it. Most people probably wouldn’t have noticed this but I am detail-oriented. I appreciate companies using less packaging as that’s better for the environment. But even a tightly-fitting piece of cardboard over the top would likely prevent shipping wear.—The rows of half pans don’t fit tightly against the sides of the bottom. I would prefer if the bottom was designed in such a way that they didn’t move around in the bottom, i.e, perhaps if it also had a center piece that would keep the half pan rows tight against the outer edges. All in all, this is a good product and I recommend it.

I love plein air painting, but my biggest gripe has been finding a good travel palette. Not only is this one cute with several color themes to choose from, but it has a couple surprises I didn't expect when I ordered mine for my gouache.Compared to my other palettes it's a pretty decent sized compact palette. It opens into three sections. Four slanted wells on one side, the paint pans in the middle, and two larger mixing wells on the other side for a total of 6 mixing wells. It comes with 14 empty half pans with a space down the middle I assume for a travel brush.I don't need the middle section for a brush, so on a hunch I found the middle section can hold another 6 half pans, for a total of 20 half pans. Or 9 full pans + 2 half, or a combination of the sizes, making it one of the most versatile mini palettes I've seen so far.On top of that I'm looking at this and I'm noticing that under the removable insert there are four more various sized mixing wells. That brings the mixing wells up to a total of 10.Definitely recommend.
