It is a perfect fit for my old MacBook, white unibody mid-2010. The new fan is keeping everything cool, even the 16GB memory w/ large SSD and many apps running.It took a few minutes to take the back cover then a few more internal screws off, swap 'n close everything up. You will need the right screwdrivers to work on Apple gear.Another good buy from Amazon.

Installed, slightly bigger than the OEM part. But it fit. Different part number to the OEM that came out, but it works. Sunon label was different to OEM, may be a clone but the important thing is it works. If your 10 year old MacBook sounds like there's a bearing about to fire out. This will work (models dependant)

Replaced fan with this one. Installed easily enough, took great care with the socket for the plug. Had read how it can be easy to pull out the socket. Took my time and was very careful, no problems. Fan runs well, temps within range at idle and under load. Seems to have more "blades" than the original I replaced.It's easy enough to do, plenty of vids or hit up iFixit and find the set by step. Recommend reading up if you haven't replaced one (or anything) before to prepare yourself for the few steps that need to be done.Overall happy with the fan. Will update if longevity is an issue.
