Good beginner pickleball set, it includes everything you need to carry around for casual at the park games. I do find the rackets a bit heavy for young kids though, but they are totally OK for adults. I will definitely keep this set in my car during the summer time.

I am new to pickleball so I can't speak in detail about what makes a high quality paddle. But as a beginner, this set has everything I need - 2 paddles, both indoor and outdoor balls, and a carrying case. Everything is USAPA approved so you know you're using real pickleball equipment. Everything seems durable enough to hold up to reasonable use.The wrapping on the handles is comfortable to grip and the right size for my hand. Overall I am happy to have this kit to start playing pickleball.

Decent little beginners kit, that comes with a convenient carry bag, two paddles and 4 balls. Enough for a pair to have a little casual fun. They're a comfortable weight. The grip is soft and comfortable as well, however it is a bit stickier than I'd like.Likes:- Includes a carry bag.- Includes 4 balls.- Nice little beginners kit with the two paddles and 4 balls, in a convenient carry bag.Dislikes:- One of the zipper tabs came off the first time closing the bag.- The grip tape is a bit too sticky for my taste.

Saw "beginner control paddles" in the description, but after receiving them and learning more, 'beginner' doesn't seem quite right to me. The fiberglass makes the ball bounce off faster, so it actually takes more control, not less. From what I’ve learned, a beginner-friendly paddle would probably have a thicker 'polymer' (plastic) core to absorb more impact and help with consistency.But, if you already know what you’re doing, or have a natural inclination to this stuff, these are good paddles. The fiberglass face gives them a good pop so you don’t have to swing as hard. They’re lightweight, and probably really great if you already have control, just not for me (yet).The set comes with four balls, two for outdoor play, two for indoor. The outdoor ones are sturdier to handle rougher surfaces and wind, and the indoor set is a bit softer. They all seem solid. The carrying bag is a nice extra, easy to grab, store and tote.After learning a bit more, I don’t know that I'd call these are true beginner paddles, and admittedly, I’m not the most naturally athletic (and have spatial challenges) so this is coming from that perspective. So, if you already have the basics down, and you're good at other racquet sports, it's a good, solid set.
