Si te late probar métodos diferentes para hacer café, pero no tienes el tiempo, la paciencia, el espacio o el presupuesto para tooodo el equipo y los accesorios que se requieren, este producto te ofrece una solución sencilla para disfrutar de una taza de café “pour over” como de cafetería y sin complicaciones.Entre mas fresco sea el grano y mas precisa sea tu receta, mejor te saldrá el café. Las proporciones que vienen en la tablita que se incluye con el producto funcionan de maravilla.Te recomiendo comprar un paquete de filtros del no. 2 de papel (puedes comprar 100 filtros por menos de 40 pesos en el supermercado) y que si tienes molino, es mejor que muelas el café justo antes de prepararlo. Estaría buenísimo que tuvieras una báscula digital para poder pesar el café y el agua (acá venden unas pequeñas para café en 200 pesos) y así logres controlar mejor las proporciones para encontrar el sabor e intensidad que mas te guste y disfrutes.En mi opinión, el café sabe mejor que el que obtengo de la cafetera de goteo eléctrica (la típica que venden en todos lados). Creo que es menos amargo y que resaltan mas otros sabores. Lo que si es importante tomar en cuenta, es que el proceso es lento y requiere tiempo y atención. Para mi es el momento de hacer una pausa, relajarme y desconectarme unos minutos sin preocuparme o estresarme por los aspectos técnicos del “pour over” perfecto.

Estaba buscando una cafetera que me permitiera hacerme una taza de café que tuviera un sabor como el de las cafeterías, este producto satisfizo mis expectativas.

Es muy práctico y a la vez, preciso, es sencillo obtener resultados idénticos una vez que eliges el tamaño de molienda apropiado. Feliz con el artículo!

And even more so when I found and purchased a permanent gold filter for this pour over maker.At first I was using the filters papers supplied so I bought another batch of papers. In the meantime I was "missing" some of the "oiliness" of coffee as I had known and loved it for over 60 years. My favourite brew was simply coffee grounds in the jug, a small pinch of salt*, add water just off the boil, stir, wait for it to brew, then pass it through a sieve-like "coffee strainer" and enjoying quite a bit of the "sludge" in the bottom of the cup. Perhaps "cowboy coffee" may have been a fair description?Then I discovered that there was a permanent gold filter available for the Oxo pour over and immediately bought one. I now have the very best of both worlds. Easy to brew, easy to clean up, and most importantly, the *full* coffee experience that I have enjoyed and loved over a lifetime.I don't think this device can be beaten for ease and simplicity, *and* providing coffee the way that I like it.* re "small pinch of salt" - One day, many years ago, when working offshore in the oil patch I volunteered to make the coffee for the crew on break and went through the usual rituals. I was pulled up by an old Dutchman who said, "Hey, you forgot the salt!""Salt?" I asked, "What salt?""You should always put a pinch of salt in your coffee," he told me.A couple of other Dutch guys in the crew nodded their approval. I thought they were taking the P but I added some salt anyway. Since I tasted that coffee that day I have *always* added a pinxch of salt to my brew. Only when someone insists on "where did you get this beautiful coffee?" do I tell them my secret.Give it a try.

Great product, especially with the 3 percolators for water onto the coffee grounds. Because of the percolators, boiling water does not need to sit to cool down for too long before making the coffee. The water does an even distribution of pour to the grounds to allow it to soak consistently and enough for proper brewing.I believe the type of filter you use will alter the taste of your coffee too. I have used and am using the same paper filter for this coffee dripper and the coffee tastes so much better!Great buy.One wish is that they make one out of glass. Not too sure on the hot water on plastic. It seems to be pretty durable though.
