Hopefully this will help you pick a size. It's always a crapshoot to find something the right size. I did a ton of research and looked at a lot of pictures before choosing this brace/harness for my little dog with back problems.XL is the size I went with, (crazy, I know), for a 20 lb dog.I love it. It makes lifting up the stairs, and into the car, much more comfortable for her.It supports her back well, and, the handles make it easier for me.I didn't need the straps so I just cut them off.Hope this helps,

Support harness is well made but binded my dog's working front legs, the front leg holes are a bit small. Had to return.

Charlie is a 14 yr old king Charles Cavalier weighing 26lbs. He recently was diagnosed with Tick paralysis which had his end basically nonfunctional and this harness has been a game changer the only down fall is needing to take it off and on as the bumpers in the back really help his legs from crossing. but the straps and poop bag holder trip him up i used a carabiner to hold everything on top but would love to just remove the straps when going in and out. Overall an amazing and helpful product.

La primera vez regrese el producto y gracias a la asesoría de los de Amazon, no tuve problema con la devolución y cambio de talla, gracias Amazon y ...Ahora sí la talla XL correspondió a la talle y medida de mi compañero de cuatro patas, el diseño bien hecho y manejable, la tela y color gris súper, las correas se ajustan muy bien mi perro ya es geriátrico, tiene 216 años, es geriátrico y tiene problema de Rendón y cadera, bueno me dasino el diseño no se queja y ajusto bien en las patas traseras, el mide 53 ccm del cuello a cola y pesa 10.500 kg. Alejandra proveedor que hace estos diseños pensando en nuestras mascotas gracias, ya que podemos sacarlos de nueva cuenta a pasear, aunque ahora no puedan caminar, ya que la correa larga permite que lo lleve al parque de nueva cuenta

I like that it was a full front to back body because my dog has problems with both front and back legs. I think because it was a little too big for my dog and I had to try to make it fit him better He was very stiff and didn't walk very well in it It made it harder on him.I had to laugh but also felt bad for him.The neck area came up too high on him. I'm afraid to try a smaller size I got the XXL. I went according to the measurements and still I was worried that it would be too small but in fact it was too big.. I also had a very difficult time getting him into it.. with that being said you might need two people to put this on your pet.. I tried doing it by myself with my dog's disabilities it was a little hard for me.. I didn't like the fact that the long handle that you hold to help the dog up does not come off the body wrap part, it is permanently attached to it.. so if you wanted to let the dog walk on his own you cannot remove that handle and it gets in the way.. I did like that it had other attached handles on the body wrap part.. my dog is older and has arthritis and is having a problem walking but he can still walk on his own I don't always need that long handle on so it would be nice to be able to remove it and attach it when needed..He is small enough that the other 2 attached handles can work ok at times for me without the longer handle. I can also pick him up to lift him with the attached handles. I will keep looking.
