Aunque si era el adecuado, a los 20 días de uso aprox. se empezó a deteriorar en los sellos, porque se empezó a fugar el agua y pensé que era excelente pero no fue asi, ni modos, no lo recomiendo

How can anyone complain about this replacement part? I have read so many things that people try to find or "create" negative feedback. I am a attention to detail kind of person who was raised by my Master Chief Sea bee father......enough said right! The blade and suprisingly high end silicone based washer fit perfectly on 50 year old Oster blender. Tight fit, no leaks, construction identical to the original Oster blades, thickness of round base plate is identical to the original! How do I know? I kept the original for comparisons to replacement for a side by side analysis......identical!!!!! Don't listen to the negative B.S. on some of the reviews.....buy this replacement for your Oster blender with confidence!!!!!! And I recieved it 1 day after ordering it with Amazon Prime. Also the cost for this is less than the shipping cost for such incredibly fast delivery!!!!!# You can put faith that I have taken my time to Help you with your decision....Sincerely Michael J McKenna Jr Laguna Beach California...

I've had my blender for about 10years. All the other parts work fine but the blades had become so dull and worn that I had become frustrated to the point of wanting a new blender. After seeing the cost of replacing the blade, I decided to try that first before buying a new blender. The new blade works so good that I decided not to buy a new blender. I have an Osterizer 14-speed. I'm glad Amazon has spare parts for these blenders. Maybe I'll keep it for ten more years.

It took 40+ years for our original set of blades to wear out. And then it was the star shaped socket that stripped; not the blades themselves that failed.This unit has a thinner base plate and the knives aren't as sharp/well made as the original. But isn't that how everything is now? Shave a little material off to reduce costs by a penny.We can only wait and see how long these blades last. For the price, I figure it'll be long enough (unless they totally fail right away).Delivery was quick and free.

This is about the 3rd or 4th Oster blade assembly we have purchased for a fairly old Oster blender. With just about daily use each morning to make a breakfast drink of veggies and fruits, the blade assembly eventually begins to leak. Each time we think about an entirely new blender and the high prices, and each time we end up purchasing another blade assembly. It does the job, and we are happy with the product and the vendor/Update April 16, 2016. This is perhaps the 4th blade assembly we have purchased since January 2014. Unfortunately, the assembly begins to leak after one to two months of daily use; we use the blender in the morning to make a smoothie-like drink of vegetables and fruits.
