Even with spare cover in lower position the lip at the rear protruded 1/2" too high. Good fit otherwise.

Fits like a glove. I go to the beach often and now the sand stays on the mat and not the carpet. Easy to clean. Great investment

I have a new 2023 Mazda CX-5. I wanted to get a cargo liner, and liked what I’d read of the Husky ones. There are apparently both old (28631) and new (28641) models to choose from. I decided to order both, compare, and return the one I didn’t keep. Here is what I found:First of all, the questions and criteria I had were as follows:- height of “lip” on all sides. Ultimately I wanted to keep all wetness and spills contained and not have it run off the front or back easily- whether it had “wings” for the 2 side spaces near the tail lights- whether it worked in both high and low positions (for those that don’t know, the platform above the spare can be put about an inch and change lower)Findings:The old model (28631) has straight sides, and does not bump out for the “wing” areasBoth old and new model (28641) work in both high and low positions (this surprised me). I didn’t think the “wings” would work in the lower position, but it does work.The new model has high lip all the way around; the older model has the lip flatten out near both the front and back. I can see a functional reason for this (to slide items forward onto the back seat area; and to slide them out the hatchback) - however in practice, the high lips fold over just fine when you do this. I also placed the seats all the way forward and placed a camping mattress, and the lip folded over without a fuss (I was concernted about this).I kept the new model, and am sending back the old. I’d rather have the wing space covered, and like the higher lip on all 4 sides. Note that the PDF documentation on the Husky web site is not updated, and refers to the old model.Any other questions, hit me up!Shawn

Bought this for a birthday gift and installed it myself with ease...no tools required and nothing to trim ....fits perfectly in the 2019 Mazda CX5 Grand Touring.
