Perfect size. I like that they don't have a front lip on them, so you can pull out the folder without having to move the whole holder.

I actually found the size to be a benefit in that your hand has to be close to the business end. For me, this improves control.

Like so many things that we buy today, the parts are not replaceable or repairable. Plastic is king and keeps us repurchasing and replacing with something a little bit less. It doesn’t have to happen this way, most objects could be refurbished and put back into service, but we don’t think that way. Ortofon could have done better for the fifteen dollars I spent for their logo, for instance. If you look at what this product replaced, you might understand. Sadly, I’ll be replacing all the parts of my set by something a little bit less and paying a lot more.
