I needed an HDMI switch for my projector and multiple input sources and I found this HDMI switch. It had everything I needed for a good price at around $60.The setup process is simple and easy. You just need to plug the power in and your inputs and your output. Done. I have my Fire TV Stick 4K Max, Wii, PC, and Xbox connected to the switch. For the output, I am using an HDMI wireless transmitter to transmit the video/audio signal to my projector. And then for audio, I used the optical audio port for my soundbar. It comes with an IR remote to switch between inputs and turn in or off eARC, which is a very nice addition. The only thing about this is that it is IR, so you will need to have line if sight from the remote to the switch in order to get the signals processed. Other than that, it's a neat feature. In terms of build quality, this thing is robust. I really didn't expect the switch to be built this dense. You would think it would feel a bit hollow, but nope, it feels like solid sturdy metal, giving it good weight. And for the functionality, I had zero issues with it. No video signal or audio problems at all. It just works.Overall, I feel like this is probably one if the better valued HDMI switches, that's for sure. It has 4 inputs (including an eARC port for eARC audio from an eARC/ARC TV for sound systems). That's just enough for what I needed and it does the job very well. I'd recommend getting this if you only need 4 inputs.

Update: I’m presently one month past the return window and wouldn’t you know it the switch is glitching. Regularly it drops audio & I’m constantly having to unplug it for 2 minutes and usually that’ll work but few days ago not only did that not solve the audio for awhile it also refused to send video to the tv. I tried everything including contacting customer support. Well it started working again after a 24 hour break but sound is really bad. Support took their time getting back to over a day and when they did my response simply said sounds like it’s defective said us your order number or copy of purchase invoice. No tips or suggestions? okay so I email them the receipt and over a day, in fact this morning I have an email simply giving me an address and telling me to mail it to them for a repair or replace. That’s it, I send it in at my expense when I already paid a relatively large amount considering my previous switches and that’s it? Send it in. I don’t know what I thought would happen. I guess I’m used to buying from Amazon where they pay return shipping and they send out a new one. They didn’t even tell me how long this process is over give me a chance to ask questions. Considering binning it and trying a different brand. It I don’t want to go with out speakers or just watching with bad tv speakers. Customer. I just wish I’d gone with a different one so that it was easierSo my honest opinion of this is that it’s almost perfect. That’s the reason there isn’t 5 stars, but I’ll go over that in a minute. First let me say I’ve used a number of HDMi switches ranging from $20 to the price of this one. If I had known then what I know even though it’s not 5 stars I would’ve saved myself the headache and started with this one. There was one I tried that was only $20 and it did almost everything accept while it said it could handle Dolby Atmos it couldn’t at least not without making the audio go in and out. This one showed me not only what the Atmos Should sound like when it’s supported but it actually showed me what Dolby Vision should’ve looked like. The other witch “supported” it but it wasn’t until I returned that one and took a shot with this one that I learned how wrong I was to think it looked good cause this one did it perfectly and man was it a crisp picture with amazing color. You don’t have to break the bank to find good tech sometimes you can research but sometimes you have to go with trial and error. With this one by orei the only problem I have is that the EDID DIP SWITCH is really tiny and has to be operated manually and the manual for me didn’t adequately explain how it’s used so I’m going by trial and error. Basically I wish that since it’s not on the remote either the switches where bigger or even better on the remote. Also I’d love it if I knew which one to use with what content for certain. I only know that I need to change the setting when I can only hear the instrumental and laugh tracks from films and tv series. This is just a convince this however having big fingers and struggling to change those settings and ultimately having to bend a paper clip just to get in there. It’s kind of frustrating and it’s a little bit but it’s enough to not give it five stars but otherwise it is a really great and I do recommend it and I would actually still buy it again even knowing that it had a tiny little switches in the front because otherwise it works really well! 5 stars is perfect & this isn’t perfect but it’s so close to perfect that the flaws can be ignored.

First thing that really stood out was there's no way to power it down other than unplugging it. (confirmed this with manufacturer) After a couple of days it froze and would not produce audio. After checking cables, input devices, etc, I decided to cycle the power. That fixed it. Figured it was a fluke. Two days later it would not produce video. Went straight to cycling the power and it worked again. Done deal, boxed it up and sent it back. Nice looking unit, the auto switching worked great, picture and audio seemed good when they worked. Maybe I just got a dud. I'm going to go a different route at this point.

I bought this so that I can use my Sonos beam soundbar with epson 5050ub projector which doesn’t have Earc port for audio out.Neither does any Denon or AVRs.I put soundbar in Input 1 and PS5 in Input 2, projector to output. Worked.Only thing you need to realize you just press the projector volume button and volume works with epson remote. That’s the great part.

I've got this setup to split the audio and video between an Sonos Arc soundbar and 1st gen Samsung QLED LCD. Now I can finally get full DTS and Atmos audio, before if it was anything but Dolby it would switch to Stereo for me from my bluray. Now I'm getting the full abilities of the Sonos soundbar and could not be happier! HDMI-CEC is also passed through so my AppleTV can be controlled with the TV remote still (appletv remote is kinda bad).Having to select the Input from the devices included remote control is a small price to pay to get full sound format support. The price is also is very nice as the alternative solutions would be multiple times more for a Receiver with two outputs or a new TV that supports DTS/Atmos...I've got the soundbar into input 1, the tv on the output and then my AppleTV, bluray and xbox on the 2, 3, 4 inputs. 110 setup for the dip swtiches so it will split the audio to input 1 and video to the output and working great.
