Klare Empfehlung!Klare Empfehlung

This poncho replaced my rain jacket in my bushcraft kit. The simple fact it's dual purpose is amazing. Nor only does ot provide me rain coverage it makes an amazing survival shelter with numerous pitching options. It has a plethora of other uses aswell. You can use this as a pack cover, ground sheet under a hammock or for cowboy camping, a make shift bivy, water catching, could even make a makeshift pack of your fails or a haversack to collect edibles, could even make a sail put of it for a raft if you had the drove and motivation. This ponchos uses are only limited by your creativity it's an amazing addition to any pack and a mainstay in mine going forward. The material is extremely durable and light weight and unbelievablely water proof. Onewond did an amazing job with this.

Well, this was cheaper through Amazon than the Onewind website and as Amazon takes 33% somehow does not make sense! Bought to replace a heavy rain jacket- I will still pack rain trousers. The Bad - So we ordered the larger XL size - and it is a good fit - I am 5'10 however the arms are short meaning you will get wet arms , to be exact wet forearms. There is a blindingly simple solution: tuck the arms within the garment - just don't fall over! Head goes into the integrated hood without any wrestling.(Wish it was slightly longer below the knee by about 10 cm would have garnered the extra *)The Good: Extremely good design overall - meticulously crafted with all seams sealed - The material is treated on one side Silnylon and is robust and very lightweight. It is waterproof and suitable for a ruck sack at up to around 65 Lt s.Attention to details that others do not offer - The hood has a very small soft peak - nothing large but useful - there is a chin strap that can be cinched tight to pretty much cover the face including nose with a small gap for the eyes. Additionally, there is a useful cinch elastic pull toggle to seat the integral hood on the head -e.g. to allow for your own hat say a baseball cap or beanie. The Poncho has x3 velcro attachment points on each side and x1 nifty feature an adjustable belt that has a simple snap lock, ( keeps the flapping down in a windstorm ).It will make a small cover as a shelter if you have a trekking pole(s) or similar and many DIY design attempts and a little experimentation will produce your best design as your one-person micro shelter. For £31.99 this is about half the price of other brands of the poncho and of course there are cheaper more High Street-friendly designs available however they will certainly not be as lightweight or have so many additional features and can be used as a tarp shelter, groundsheet and as a rain poncho.Arrived in about 7 days from a UK drop-shipper. There is additionally a stuff sack and brochure and a couple of small carabiners. For more info see the YouTube content Onewind Poncho. You will look like the Darth Vader but fear not you will be dry - All in all a Great Product.

Overall, this is a really nice poncho and I can recommend buying it as long as you are aware of the small issues.Pros:1. It is extremely lightweight, to the tune of half the weight of a Columbia rain jacket I also own.2. It packs down very small (About the size of a can of soda. Maybe a bit taller but the same diameter.)3. It is absolutely waterproof. (Was out in the rain for 5 hours straight and remained bone dry underneath.)4. The Velcro closures are very strong down the sides5. The belt was surprisingly useful in keeping it from flapping around in the rain.6. The tie offs that make it a tarp seem very well anchored and solid (I did not get the chance to use it as a tarp but very much like the fact that it is a possibility)Cons:1. The space for your head to pass through is a bit on the small size. (If you have a larger head like me then it will be tight and you will have to take off any glasses you may be wearing)2. The hood is a bit small as well. (Same issue as the pass through for your head. I had to take off my hat, put on the poncho, then put my hat back on, and squeeze myself into the hood. This is confusing as there is an adjustment system for the hood which will make it smaller, but that feels like it is completely un-needed)Summary:I really like it and would recommend it for the many in-built features, but I would also warn that you may find the neck and hood quite tight. If you don't then this is an excellent product.
