Food bit works for the small rabbit food I use with it only every once and a while so I need to give it a shake to unclog it. The water bit while originally it worked great after about 3-4 days the spring controling the mechanism became worn and wound no longer close when outside of the holder.

I order a blue set and a pink set for my male and female ferrets...obviously this isn't pink lol I'm sure it will function properly however I would have preferred the color I chose.

This type of watering system is preferred versus a bottle bead system. Easy to refill but truly needs a bigger bottle, as it's empty by day 2 (only 1 rabbit). The food container is NOT meant for cages that have horizontal bars. I ended up cutting the cage to make it work. Having mounted it to the lowest section of the cage, food ends up everywhere. The feeder is great if in a pinch and need to be gone for the weekend but not the waterer so go to the dollar store and buy a cheap cat water dispenser bowl instead. Ultimately, I removed these and do not use.
