To enhance usability, product manufacturer should simplify the Android phone connection instructions. Although the current process works, user experiences vary across devices, for example, my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.Connection steps that worked for my device:1. This monitor only supports wireless connections; wired connections didnt. Users may encounter a website in Chinese text when attempting a wired connection.2. Try to connect your android phone to a Wi-Fi network (Searching for "PH01..." When prompted for a password, use "12345678".3. Lastly, enable screen mirroring using your phone's screen casting feature (e.g., Samsung Smart View).Hope it works for you!

This product does exactly what its purpose is. Actually quiet impressively for what it is. We tested this on both android and iPhone. Android has to be use wirelessly, but iphone can be used wirelessly or with a wire. This screen is very task focused, and it does that very well. The screen is clear enough to see, even from a further distance. It has two usb c ports, one is specifically for charging this device, and the other is for connecting to a phone, which can also charge the phone. This can be charged while also charging a phone, which is a nice feature for longer recording sessions. There are 2 buttons and one switch. The power button turns the unit on and off with a long press, but with a short press rotates the screen. The middle button changes the brightness between 3 settings, but also with a long press changes the screen fit (keep original screen ratio, or fill the entire screen). The switch lets you switch between standard view and mirrored. No matter how you mount this, you can correct the picture to be seen properly. The included mount has a magnet on it to hold this screen in place, not at a fixed location, but anywhere along the length of the screen. We usually keep it off to one side so the phone camera isn’t blocked. This does have a built in battery, which is useful for a quick setup, or if you want to be more mobile. The battery lasts a long time, probably longer than you’ll need in any one session. While writing this review, I decided to try the android wired connection again. Andrioid doesn’t have the provided software built into the system, which iPhone does. The screen always linked to one website, but the website didn’t provide anything useful, until I looked at the source code and found the link to download a hccast.apk file. This seems like a fairly common screen mirroring app, but it is very outdated, at least the one provided. I suspect this app is fairly old from a message I got when installing it, that it is an old app that doesn’t provide the same security settings, or something similar. I decided to try anyway. At first the screen wouldn’t displace correctly, incorrect orientation, but after connecting a few times, that was corrected. It might have been a setting in the app itself, or just a random bug.I do notice my phone is seeing this as elf cast mirror, so maybe there is another app out there that will work. It does seem like it will be generic, but maybe specific since it is through usb. Being fair, the ad does only mention being able to use the wired connection on iPhone, so I’m surprised it is also working on android.

This phone selfie monitor screen is an absolute game-changer! I took it on a trip to D.C. during cherry blossom season, and it made capturing high-quality selfies with my back camera effortless. No more guessing or taking blurry shots—standing under the gorgeous pink blooms by the Tidal Basin, I could see exactly how my photo was framed in real time. It’s lightweight, easy to attach, and barely takes up space in my bag, making it the perfect travel companion. Every shot looked crisp and well-composed, and I can’t imagine taking selfies without it now!

This phone vlog selfie monitor is a total game-changer! I’ve always struggled with getting high-quality selfies and vlogs because the front camera just doesn’t compare to the rear camera. This little gadget completely solves that problem by letting me see myself in real-time while using the rear camera, making my videos and photos look way sharper and more professional. The build quality is solid, and the magnetic mount makes it super easy to attach and remove. Setup was straightforward, and I love that it connects wirelessly for Android and via cable for iPhones. The screen is clear, with no noticeable lag, which is impressive.Another great feature is the universal phone holder—it’s sturdy and adjustable, so it fits different phone sizes perfectly. Plus, the included Bluetooth remote is a nice touch, allowing me to snap photos or start recording without touching my phone.A couple of things to keep in mind: It doesn’t support Google Pixel phones, and audio output goes to the monitor when screen sharing, but that’s not a huge deal for me. Overall, this is a must-have for content creators, vloggers, and anyone who wants to level up their selfie game! Highly recommend!

Well. It turned on. That's about it. But none of the steps or QR actually work for me to connect. Can't find anything in the app store. No website to go to for instructions. I shouldn't have to spend an hour trying just connect it. And still not connected. Definitely going back to.
