Mostly I like this fondue maker. (I didn't notice). I meant to say I DID NOTICE the bottom on the inside was peeling and unacceptable so I took steel wool and tried to get all of it off at one time so it wouldn't be an issue anymore. Secondly, the hottest it gets is 131° f and I believe it should go up to 1:40° f. I use a regular stove to heat the cheese initially and then put it in the fondue maker. The size is perfect. I just wish the company who makes this would consider a glass bowl instead of this metal bowl that flakes paint. I am trying to source a Pyrex type of bowl with identical dimensions and not easy to do. They from day 1 should have gone with a standard Pyrex type of glass bowl and then figured out how to curve the cradle that the glass bowl sits in. I at least hope these folks know which glass bowls are identical to there quickly peeling metal bowl and can post a suitable replacement bowl even if not for free.Jim

Way too small - this would be for one person only.

I used this for a holiday party for my chocolate covered strawberries. The chocolate stayed warm but didn't burn, it was hot but not scalding 10/10.

I used this little device for melting confection coatings this weekend. I was able to melt my candy coatings quickly and cleanup was easy enough with minimal waste due to the non-stick coating of the melting pot. This did speed up my candy making process and I do recommend it for that purpose.I would love to have additional melting containers to accommodate different color coatings.
