I had a small LED light on my keychain for work. It was small and severely underpowered for any sort of use during the day/light. Well it finally died a few weeks ago, so I was looking for a replacement, and came across this little gem!It’s the length of a standard house key. And about the diameter of Sharpie. Very strong magnet, I was worried the light would fall out/off the base, but you could throw this against a wall and it would stay in place!!One concern I had was if the magnet would “interfere” with my car’s key fob. But no issues at all! Lock/Unlock and Remote Start still work flawlessly!One consideration, is if you attach this to your key ring. Most all keys are brass(non-magnetic), but I have a “universal” locking gas cap for my truck, and it has a cheap steel key. Nothing major, but my keys do get bunched up in my pocket at times, because the brass keys get “trapped” between the steel key and the base of the light.However, where it makes up for that, is with the brightness of the light!! It throws about a 3’ wide beam at 10’ away. Very bright white light. Super handy in multiple scenarios, because I always have my keys on my pants with a carabiner clip.When you are done using, because of the magnet on the base. All you have to do is hold the light about 1” away and it Snaps back together and shuts off the light! I don’t even have to look at my keys or try to finagle it back together. Super easy, very bright, and user friendly with the magnetic base! Place the light on any steel/metal surface and you have an instant hands-free light source, all you have to do is give it a pull!The initial charge was fast via the USB base, and the protective rubber isolator is good quality. I would say it’s “resistant” to tears and they even provide a replacement! I did the initial charge ~15min, and it’s been 3weeks, dozens of uses(30-60seconds at a time) and still holding a charge! 100% going to buy a bunch more of these, a great gift idea!

I use this light everyday. My keychain always hangs from my belt loop when I am at work, and this flashlight hangs off of my keychain. Anytime I need to stick my head in a machine at work, after a couple of months. My hand automatically goes right to the flashlight. If you have a ton of stuff on your keychain it might take a second to find it. But you get used to it after a while.The flashlight turns on as soon as it disconnects from the magnet on the keychain holder, which makes it super convenient and fast when you need light in a pinch. The magnet on the bottom of the flashlight makes it super easy to Mount on metallic surfaces when you need to work with two hands.When you no longer need the light, with one hand you can put the flashlight back on it keychain holder. Once the flashlight is relatively close to the holder, the strong magnets attract to each other and will automatically align the flashlight to the keychain holder. I have been using it everyday for a couple of months and I no longer need to look at my keychain to put the flashlight away or to take it out.If you only need it for a second to light up an area you can just pull on it lightly without completely taking it off the keychain, there's some kind of resistance that prevents you from removing it unless you pull relatively hard. It seems that there are two engineered positions when removing it from the holderFor its size, it's very bright, and does. Does a pretty good job at at lighting up the area. I wish it was a little bit of a wider beam, but maybe that'll be an option in a later iteration.I'm not sure how long it lasts, but I'm assuming a few hours on one full charge. I only ever need to use it for a minute or two at a time.Overall I give it five stars, it's something that I use everyday and something that I will replace when it wears out or breaks. Very useful and smart design. I think this flashlight is an instant classic everyday carry device. Would recommend to pretty much anybody.

This is a surprisingly bright light for its size! About the size of a Bic lighter, fits on a my belt key loop perfectly, super convenient and handy, magnetic base for under hood or under car work on the side of the road. Rechargeable from any usb port, great build quality and hand feel, even for man hands with poor sensation it’s easy to handle with the knurling. Will definitely be buying more as gifts! Great little light!
