In practice, it seemed to me it had 5 settings not 6. Look at the picture of the modes. "Shower Spray" was a 4-channel center jet but the jets were diffuse, the strongest setting you want to use on your body. I think it's really meant for washing down the surfaces. Next is "Rain" which is only the outer half of the jets (felt like a water saving feature). Next is "Rain & Power Massage" which just means all jets operational (very gentle and high volume). Next is "Power Massage", which is inner half of jets, narrow and twice as strong, but not painful. Ideal for rinsing out shampoo. The last one, "Power Wash", I don't recommend at all. All that pressure coming through tiny needle jets, painful to your skin and not diffuse enough to wash down surfaces. All in all I'm happy with it. It's those middle 3 settings that will get all the use for bathing.

This works just fine, and for the price, it is a great deal. But the shower head is a very light weight plastic and I suspect it won't hold up well over time. Hasn't performed poorly, but it just doesn't seem like it will be able to hold up over the long haul.Quick fix, nice looking.
