Great tool. Must have. Could not do job without it.

After spending hours trying to remove a stuck rotor on a Mazda 3 that no amount of hammering, heating, penetrating oil, or sheer brute force could remove, I decided to invest in a drum and rotor removal tool. I am very happy I purchased this tool as I subsequently needed it to remove every rotor on this vehicle. Turns an often frustrating and labour intensive problem into a short 5 minute fix. The tool is robust, easy to use and works every time. There are easy to follow instructions included in the case if you have never used a similar tool before. I will never have to fight to remove a rotor again.

This was actually my second attempt to buy a hub/wheel/disc puller like this. There are several offerings on Amazon that look nearly identical. On my first try I purchased a kit in a black case with parts that looked just like the ones in this kit BUT the quality was definitely not the same. On that try the hole in the T-Bar was undersize, the Pressure Screw would not drop through the bar at all. Made the whole thing useless. Thankfully, Amazon return policy saved me again and I send it back right away. So now we come to this one. The finish on all the parts is better. The case is better. Best of all, nothing is damaged and everything fits and works as it should. The original front disc brake rotors on my 2006 Hyundai Sonata were really stuck to the hubs. There was no amount of hammering that was going to get them off. I specifically did not want to heat the discs with a torch and try again because I didn't want to cook off all the wheel bearing grease. With kit, I had each disc off in just a few minutes on the first try. No fuss, no bother. Why did I not buy one of these years ago? One more thing: this identical kit, same OEMTOOLS trade name, same green case and all sells for $241 at Autozone. I was very happy to get it for $100 less from Amazon. All good. No bad. 5 stars fair and square.

More heavy duty than I thought it would be. Works great, a set of straps helps a lot with only 2 hands! They should add to one of the pics what size socket and wrench you need. Thank goodness I just changed the ball joints on my F350 4x4 and had to purchase the 1-5/16" socket for that job and worked here as well I and already had a 12" adjustable wrench aka a monkey wrench, I think the "hand book" said 33mm....well I don't have one of those, but the monkey wrench did the job. And just a picky observation.....the sticker on the case is on the bottom....buyers....place the case with the sticker side down before opening....not a huge deal, but I'd rather put the tool back in the case when done with the job, not before starting the job. Otherwise, it's for sure a strong 5 star rating.
