It's too short to work easily. The longer version of the cheshire collimation tool would be better as you have longer eye relief for seeing the cross hairs on the collimation tool. I dont recommend this short version, get the long version and save yourself the headaches.

In my opinion the focal length is too short least for me making it difficult to see the cross hairs.

On the money vanes a little hard to see but right on the mark I always use three different ones to check the alignment of my Orian Telescopes both 12 & 6 inch, the lasers were a head ack tried three different brands.old school is the only way to go....

Works as good as a Laser collimator maybe better . My newtonian is way sharper
