Seems true to size. I'm 5'8" and typically wear size 6, occasionally 8 in slacks/jeans. I ordered 8L. I've recently lost weight, down to about 143 lbs so I wasn't sure about sizing so I ordered up. I think I could've gone with 6L as these are a bit loose in the waist and hips. I usually wear only thin thermals underneath so I don't need my ski pants to be roomy to accommodate extra layers (I ski in CA). The looser fit isn't a problem for me. As for features, the rear pocket has only one tiny velcro patch, I wouldn't use it for anything important. Two zippered pockets in front are nice. But it would be great to have at least one pocket on the thighs/calves. I also recommend adding an adjustable tab on the waist. There are belt loops if that works for you. My older obermeyer pants had better pockets and two adjustable waist tabs.

I love these ski pants. I just wish I had ordered a size 10 rather than a size 12. I ordered a 12 based on the sizing chart of my measurements. But they are too long, baggy and loose at the waist. I am 5' 8", 152 pounds, on the slimmer side - athletic build, not curvy. I wear a size 10 in every pair pants or shorts I own but I was afraid that these pants would run small so I got the 12. That is my only complaint. Very nice quality and very warm.
