Perhaps its my Ukey, but I found this [wound] low G to be quite overpowering of the rest of the strings. I'll be trying another G. Also, there G was much shorter than other strings and won't do a second string -> I can easily get a second C-E-A though. I should be giving 2 stars on the sound front, 3rd star because I do like the other strings and are long enough for a second life. Took 4 days to stretch and settle. Play daily.

As a guitar player who is dabbling in ukulele, this set of strings is perfect. The metal-wound G string allows me to take the G down a full octave - which, gives the uke a linear tuning like guitar. And the standard uke chords still work. The voicing is just different (deeper, sounds pretty cool in my opinion). But for plucking out a riff, it's much easier with this tuning.I'm using a tenor ukulele; this one, to be exact: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01D8HDFPI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The only issue I have is that the nylon core of the G string stretches just the way you would expect nylon strings to do... but of course this eventually causes gaps in the metal winding. So I have to replace the G fairly often, much more so than the rest of the set. I wish I could buy a giant pack of just metal-wound G strings.

I use the low G warm strings on my concert uke. What I like best is the beautiful sound. These came double length so there is enough for a restring set. I play an hour or so every day and the wrapped low G started to deteriorate at the second fret within a few months and then it is not long before the nice sound and tuning is gone. When you find yourself struggling with the tuning and the sound gets weird just bite the bullet and restring. The gorgeous sound of the new strings will make you happy again. Also you might want to triple wind the high A string at the bridge to avoid slippage.UPDATE: I bought a new tenor ukulele and used these same strings but the sound was a little small for a tenor. Bought the D'Addario EJ99TLG Pro-Arté Carbon Ukulele Strings, Tenor Low G, which were a very nice change. Made the tenor sound bigger and fatter, but still beautiful.BTW: Oasis makes more types of strings than are available on Amazon. You will have to go to another dedicated ukulele string site to inform yourself.

En mi caso, no pude sujetarlo de ambos seguros por la jaula, pero basta con una bien ajustada para realizar el trabajo. Excelente calidad del producto.

I have mostly used Aquila (New Nylgut) strings and have been happy with them but have been curious about the Fluorocarbon strings so after looking at a few options, I decided on the Oasis Clear Fluorocarbon with the low G string. I was surprised how noticeably brighter they are. Probably depends a bit on your style of play but as I fooled around with them, I was finding more harmonics emerging out of my play. Clearer and punchier than a nylgut or nylon string. The tuning break in period is a bit longer but they did settle in after maybe a week (playing a bit every day). I would say that the Aquila strings are warmer and fuller and I think the Aquila also settle in with their tuning a bit quicker than the Fluorocarbon strings but all in all, I was very pleased with Oasis Clear Fluorocarbon set. Just seemed to sound more "alive" with the Oasis strings. My package came with 2 separate low G wound strings and the C, E, and A strings were doubled in length, so basically you are getting 2 sets for a Tenor size uke, which is a great deal.

I’ve tried a bunch of strings on my Kanilea tenor ukulele, most recently Worth browns. I like the Worth tone, very warm, but too quiet, not enough projection and sustain. I recently tried the Oasis low G warms. I’m ok w these strings. Plenty of projection and sustain, but a bit too bright for my taste, so I’ll keep looking. I may try the Worth clears next. One con re Oasis - measure carefully before cutting - there was enough string for two strings on the G, C and A, but not the E. The E was way too short for two.
