Been doing combat sports for 20 years and like these gloves a lot.They offer a very good level of protection as an all around MMA training glove. They offer good protection to thumb, knuckles and wrist. They are a bit bulky but are not a pro fight glove. They are supposed to be a bit more bulky. That’s one of the ways they offer increased protection.They are made well. Have held up well so far. No problems with the stitching. Made out of real leather. For 30$ they are a steal.

easy to install and cover for my mattressI pack my mattress one day before my move out, and god, I was worried it will be hard to do it. and it was not.Sizing is important before purchase, it fitted perfectly with my King size mattressStraps are a great addition to carry the mattress to the truck

The black & red gloves bleed through staining hands all red after training and paint not easy to come off. Overall gloves work well.

Used daily. Takes a beating on mitts, bags and sparring. They have held up great considering the heavy use. Its well worth the price. They have good room with short wraps and if sized right gel wraps will also fit. On large hands gel wraps did not work out well. The leather is hi-quality in my option. Compared to some other brand names I feel these are a top 10 pick in MMA gloves I have used. Keep in mind they are not pro gloves as they have the thumb guard. I would buy again.

Son unos guantes que cumplen muy bien su función, altamente recomendables. Además protegen muy bien las manos de los luchadores.

Resistentes y cómodos una vez que se han amoldado a tu mano. No son guantes que sean cómodos en los 2 ó 3 primeros entrenamientos, pero después permiten cerrar bien el puño y protegen bien la mano.Ya llevo tiempo con estos guantes y no me decepcionan para nada. Muy buenos para sparring, grappling y golpear el saco. Protegen de maravilla la mano, y con el tiempo se han vuelto más cómodos. Los únicos detalles que podrían ser un problema serían una imperfección en el tejido del cuero y que el logotipo en negro se despinta con mucha facilidad, pero para mí no es un problema y hasta puede darle estilo a los guantes.Cuando lleguen a ser inutilizables mis guantes actuales, seguramente compraré otro par igual.

My hand is 9.1 inches around knuckles and I bought the large size. The fit was tight in the beginning even without wraps. With wraps it was super tight and uncomfortable. But after a while, the gloves broke in and now they are just perfect for my hands while wearing wraps. Without wraps they feel too loose now. So keep this in mind, these gloves require a break in period before they feel right.Regarding protection. This really depends on what you want from the gloves and your expectations. I wanted gloves that allow to hit the same way as with bare knuckles, but offer some knuckle protection. You can get 4 ounce UFC/MMA type gloves, but they don't offer any significant protection (no matter which brand). I tried some 7 ounce gloves, but they forced me to hit in a wrong way.After a break in period (but not when new), these gloves allow to make a correct fist structure and hit the same way as with bare knuckles. They offer more protection than 4 once UFC/MMA fight gloves, but don't expect any miracles here. These are not boxing gloves. If when you hit, your knuckles are not flush with the surface (you hit) or your wrist is bent, you are going to hurt your self. The gloves offer some wrist protection, which is nice, but it's not sufficient to protect against bad punching technique like boxing gloves can do. You can do heavy punching on a bag with these gloves, but each and every punch has to land correctly or you will hurt your self. If you use these gloves for sparring, they will give you protection IF AND ONLY IF you land the punches correctly. However, they will not protect your sparring partner. They hit like a slightly padded brick. They can be used only for light sparring.One negative, but minor thing (for me at least). These gloves have rough surface on the inside, which rubbed off the skin from my knuckles during the first couple of sessions when I didn't use wraps (they felt too tight with wraps in the beginning). I solved this by putting tape over my knuckles and then wrapping on top. This is really the only and very minor negative. I should have used the wraps from the beginning to prevent this.Overall, these are great gloves.
