This watch is super great! the only downside i can think of is that you have to wait for a while to see the date. But other than that it is a really great watch.

My husband and I are NOT technically illiterate and yet we were not able to set the correct date on this children's watch. We both tried. We were able to set the time and didn't pursue the other features after not being able to set the date. It was too exasperating. The product is made in China. There are instructions but they cannot be followed. This would be a very annoying watch to give to a child. For some reason I can't find a suitable watch for a 9 year old who does not want a smart watch - just a digital watch. We didn't pay much for it so I should have known I would have trouble, but how difficult can it be to set a date?

My son got this watch when he was eight years old. He's ten now and is finally replacing it. He wears it constantly and the band is finally breaking, but he's an active kid who wears it for Scouts, school, running club, etc. I'm amazed it has lasted this long. The watch itself is still working fine but the band is starting to tear. We could have stretched the time and worn it longer, but at this great price, we decided to simply replace it. Five stars for sure!
