Small but mighty incense. Not only is the scent out of this world, it sticks around long after the incense has stopped burning. I have had countless incense over the course of my life (now 47), these are BY FAR the best incense I have ever had. They are all floral and all smell so good I burned through them too fast. I would light one very evening to sit and read or work. I only wish they were cheaper. The incense are only about 2 inches long and there is ten of each. They are worth the money don't get me wrong. They are a tremendous segway into the high end incense market. You get three different ones to try and it even comes with an incense holder. One final note, they are great gifts, the boxes are amazing.

When I received this I was a bit disappointed at the size as I thought these were normal sized Japanese incense but the whole set box included fits in the palm of your hand. That is partially my fault for not seeing that these only burn for 10 minutes. I was contemplating returning but after smelling the dry sticks I was tempted to try one and lets just say I am a bit blown away. These are not your typical spicy woody japanese incense I have tried the lilac and the rose and they really smell EXACTLY like Sri Lankan temple incense in a good way because they remind me of my childhood. Such a gorgeous smell. The ash is also actually pure white which means it is made of quality ingredients. The smell is floral and sweet (almost like dry rose water) but not over bearingly sweet. This is definitely a treat; not an everyday incense but definitely one if youre in the mood for enjoying something luxurious. The box and holder are cute and I will probably reuse them as a travel incense set when I burn through :)

If you open the box, there is a quite intense smell. I don't really like it, because it smells like scented and not that natural. Furthermore I get a burning sensation in the eyes, so that's usually a sign, that the incense sticks are not that natural. So I think, that the descritpion is incorrect.
