I like using them to waterproof my outside boxes, but also for the look. With the right cable diameter it also protects the cables from getting pulled out.The quality of these are fine. Not any different from others I have used in the past. They come in a small box separated in plastic bags.

Out of the 20 pieces, 11 had warped, stretched or extra material on the thread gaskets. Three had extra material on the inner ring seal. The warped and stretched ones would just pop off when tightened - the only way to make sure they sealed was to use some silicone sealant inside and out. I was able to trim off the extra material on the gaskets and collars, but why should I need to?5 star on the plastic parts, 1 star on most of the rubber.

I think the on-line title for this product’s listing is unfortunately unclear about what a great package this is: This NineLeaf cable gland pack contains 20 separate waterproof electrical cable glands/connectors, but in a very nice, wide range of sizes, 5 different sizes, 4 connectors of each size. (The named sizes correspond to the max. diameter of the cable being connected. But these also have to fit properly through or into the hole in the electrical box.) I really appreciate this size variety, ‘cause it was exactly what I needed, saved me from ordering a bunch of useless-to-me individual parts before this kit allowed me to figure out precisely what sizes I needed.The product listing is also less clear than it should be about the purpose/use of these gland connectors: These are the proper connectors for connecting a round (cylindrical) electrical cable into an electrical box, where the box, the cable, this connector, and thus the whole resulting assembly, are all waterproof/weatherproof.I needed just a couple of these connectors to properly wire up the electrical going from my seawall (the concrete wall/deck at the edge of the water) down the gangway to my dock - but I wasn’t sufficiently sure exactly how these work to be completely certain what sizes I would need. Thus this kit wonderfully solved my size uncertainty, gave me more than enough of every size that I could just try ‘em and see which ones would fit my situation.In my limited experience of trying and using just a few of these connectors, they seem to be very well designed and made. However, considering that they are made mostly of hard nylon with rubber seals - both of which materials survive notoriously poorly in extreme heat and sunlight, like we have in excess here in southern California - and especially considering that the parts are all black, which increases their heat absorption - I am somewhat concerned and will be watching to see how long these survive in functioning condition. (Other manufacturers make these connectors in grey nylon rather than black, which would seem to be a better choice for long-term weather resistance.)However, at least for now, these NineLeaf gland connectors seem to be exactly what I needed. 5 stars.
