I bought these to make a electrical control panel for my 14' aluminum boat. They do what they say BUT have a couple of quirks that would keep me from buying them again. First, the outside ring on these is 1.5" in diameter so each switch takes up allot of real estate on the mounting surface. I was only able to crowd 3 switch's into a 7" long box. Second, the switch bodies became loose within their mounting housing. They held but have a sloppy feel to them. 3rd, the wire that comes with them is really too short at 5" to do anything with. They really should come with a 6 or 8" lead. BTW, be sure to watch the polarity on these closely. If you swap the power feed with the power out location, you will blow fuses and/or limit the switch to 3.2 v output. In the end, I'm using these but am glad I have a few spares. Time will tell but I'm not overly confident with the overall quality.

I ordered one set and returned them due to poor quality control only to find that the new ones are equally bad . The switches themselves did not seem to be engineering correctly for the sockets provided and so switches would fall out or bobble around loose in the mounting . What I found is that if the rubber switch boot is not correctly and thoroughly mounted on its seat this issue will occur . I am finally happy with the end result but would have preferred a smoother installation .

These are very nice switches if you can get them to work. It took me lots of trial and error and many blown fuses before I realized that the included instructions on what wire goes to which post IS WRONG.Here are the correct instructions:Post #1 (copper) goes to negative/ground.Post #2 (middle) goes to 12v positive on the battery.Post #3 (bottom) goes to the device you want to power with the switch.I used these switches along with some other Nilight products on a custom center console in my Crown Vic. Below are the other items I used that you can see in my photos.Nilight 4 in 1 Socket Panel - https://amzn.to/4iwYFguNilight 50055F 6 Way Fuse Block - https://amzn.to/49C4XY4Nilight 50020R 2Pin 16AWG Terminal Connectors - https://amzn.to/3VDqudjNilight Quick Charge Socket PD Type C - https://amzn.to/41qcvLI
