I really thought this would be a great addition for our Sleep Number mattress on a steel bed frame. However, Sleep Number says to never put the mattress on a steel frame, it must be placed on a wood/plywood base. Once I assembled the steel frame then put the 3/4" A/CX plywood over it, there were some raised edges on the clip that kept the plywood from resting on all the frame pieces. I decided to return these keepers and installed decorative 3" right angle brackets on the plywood. Too bad. 'cuz they are well made and would certainly work for any other mattress not requiring a plywood platform. So, not recommended for Sleep Number beds but GREAT for regular mattresses.

Used these on a metal cot to secure the mattress. Work perfect. I appreciate that the clamps are curved and no sharp edges.They are super easy to install and adjustable for variable widths. Would purchase again.

The screws to hold these on are too big for the holes and will not go in. Completely useless. I only put a one because it wouldn't accept zero stars.
