If you want the very best, take it from a 35 year Pipefitter - Plumber, nothing beats a Nicholson File for sharpness, quality & longevity.

I assumed that Nicholson was only made in the USA but made in Brasil is okay also, as long as it's not made in a totalitarian country.The quality seems very good.

The description says "Nicholson", but the product is actually "Crescent Nicholson" which I believe is rebranding done after the files were no longer made in the USA. The file is now made in Brasil. I really needed a half round file, and Amazon did deliver quickly, so i will keep the file. But i am very disappointed that the Nicholson brand is no longer made in the USA. Also, the price has gone up, not down, even with sourcing from a much lower wage country. Not promising.
