This is a great product and very sturdy. I'm using it to scoop small pieces of dehydrated foods into jars and the sides let foods fall out left and right, which defeats my purpose. BUT if you're doing French fries or larger foods it'll work great. The quality is very good.

USE: Scooping popcorn into 1.5 oz. popcorn paper bags. MORE DETAILS: Our PTA works with the local movie theatre to offer Popcorn Friday as a fundraiser for the school. The PTA purchases huge bags of popcorn for a low price (probably leftover from Thursday night) and scoops it into 1.5 oz paper popcorn bags and sells them to students on Popcorn Friday for $1. This makes between $300-$400 once a month at the school.GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Scooper is study and well-made. Handles are heavy-duty plastic and each side will unscrew to make the profile smaller. It is large so you need some clearance to scoop the popcorn and then slide the bag over the end and turn vertical. Made to be used left or right handed. Popcorn falls easily into open bag. Works super fast and easy if bag is preopened, works well if bag is slightly opened at top, works the least well if bag is simply slid over the feed as you have to bounce everything to get the popcorn and gravity to open the rest of the bag. We have already ordered another one.SPECIFIC USE DESCRIPTION: I dumped huge bags of popcorn into a large cardboard moving box lined with Press N Seal--because it has to be food grade. I believe the large supply bags we get from the movie theatre will fill about 40-60 bagged 1.5 oz popcorn bags. I distributed six large supply bags to the other stations two--we work in stations with people scooping, stapling the bag shut, counting for class distribution, and then distribution. I believe it saved us an enormous amount of time, which is something I've been trying to accomplish since I started helping with Popcorn Friday. The PTA president bought my scooper and asked me to order another one.
