I didn't buy these for children. I bought these so me and my wife could absolutely destroy each other shooting and yelling across the house like adults. Alas, they did not work. We had to settle for the Rival line which was a lot more accommodating to my wifes delicate skin (but almost just as fun, Rival line is FiRe). So I gave one to my childhood friend and now WE destroy each other on whims. For real though, these are fast and they sting quite a bit for kids I imagine. It liken it to midway between being shot with a paintball and being shot with a spring loaded airsoft. Safety glasses minimum protection imo

This Nerf Hyper Siege -50 is so much fun. This nerfs gun comes with 40 rounds. The rounds are little yellow balls, they are light weight and somewhat rubbery. My son who is seven had no trouble priming the blaster at all, so nerf guns are a little harder for him to prime by himself. Shooting the gun is a lot of fun and boy does it shoot fast. Those little balls fly out of there so quickly. He really enjoyed the nerf gun, the look is and feel of the nerf gun is amazing. This is a great outdoor activity that any kid or an adult would enjoy. I have to say even my husband enjoyed playing outdoors with him. Protective eyeglasses or a mask must be worn. Safety is the most important factor when playing with these types of toys. The nerf hyper siege -50 does come with a pair of eye wear that are plastic. Overall, the Nerf Hyper Siege 50 is a lot of fun

So much fun. Love them. Hurt a little and can leave small welts but minimal. Balls are great - like the runner better than the foam. Wouldn’t change a thing. Like mild paintball that you can play indoors!

I have a rush 40 and just had to get the siege 50 , I love the new hyper line. Shoots awesome out of the box. Love the quality and build it feels amazing and nerf hit a home run for me !!!!!!
